Rural Living came about as a result of Mark and Jude's passion for the British countryside and everything associated with it. They specialise in fine craft. As well as being able to browse the website they have a shop in Haslemere, Surrey.
Alpha State were commissioned to modify the Actinic Business templates in line with the stylish layouts Rural Living had worked up with their design company and integrate it with an online payment service provider.
We created a number templates so that non-catalogue pages such as feature essays, links and customer service pages could be managed by Mark and Jude within Actinic and developed some additional features such as a searchable Events Diary (PHP/Database driven) and Recommend to a Friend that Actinic couldn't handle .
We are experienced Actinic customisers and make sure that each of our clients' sites all have a distinctive, professional look and feel that is search engine friendly too. Some of sites have been featured in Actinic's gallery of example sites.
Whilst not necessarily the best option for all businesses Actinic Business does offer sophisticated marketing, merchandising, customer and order management functionality. Advanced discounting features, customer specific pricing, support for downloadable products such as mp3 music and more can be set up 'out of the box'. It can also be readily intergated with back-office systems such as Sage Line 50 and Quickbooks.
